Every year, a quantity exceeding 2 billion tonnes of residues is created on a global scale. The recent ephemeral presentation at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie encourages us to become aware of the enormous pile of waste resulting from the productivist economic system. It illustrates how the field of design transforms this waste into valuable resources, thus offering a perspective oriented towards a future less conducive to waste. Entitled "Precious Waste" (originally titled "Waste Age: What Can Design Do?"), this exhibition was developed by the Design Museum in London.
