Imagine...

On April 15, 1874, at eight o'clock in the evening, in the former studio of the famous photographer Nadar, located on Boulevard des Capucines in Paris, an exceptional scene came to life. The 2nd and 3rd floors of this building welcome around thirty painters determined to present their works to the public. This exhibition marks a turning point in the history of art: it is the first impressionist exhibition.

Through virtual reality, immerse yourself in the heart of this inaugural evening. Live an immersive and unique experience, to share with family or friends. Relive the atmosphere of this era when audacity and artistic vision marked the beginning of a revolutionary movement.

The artists brought together for this exhibition are independents, refusing to conform to the standards of the official Salon. Among them, names that still resonate today: Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, Berthe Morisot, Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro and Edgar Degas.

Wearing a virtual reality headset, enter Nadar's studio as it was in 1874. Meet these young artists as they struggle to make a name for themselves in the art world. Let yourself be guided through the exhibition and even beyond, to the emblematic places of the Impressionist movement.

You will visit the Salon, where the Impressionists were rejected, but also the workshop of Frédéric Bazille, where the idea for this exhibition took shape. You will find yourself on the island of La Grenouillère, alongside Monet and Renoir painting together, and even in Le Havre, where Monet immortalized the famous painting "Impression, Soleil Levant".

This experience is based on in-depth research and a careful reconstruction of Nadar's studio and the exhibition that took place there. Thanks to the expertise in 3D reconstruction and virtual reality, supervised by the Musée d'Orsay, you are invited to dive into the heart of this major event in the history of art.
